The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), Panchkula, has announced the recruitment of 6000 Constables, both Male and Female, as per Advt. No. 06/2024. If you’re eligible and interested, you can apply online from June 29, 2024, to July 8, 2024. Age Limit:

• General: Born between 02.02.1996 and 01.02.2006
• SC / BC: Born between 02.02.1991 and 01.02.2006

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed Intermediate (10+2).
• HSSC CET Group C Qualified.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):

• Male Candidates:
  • Height: 170 cms
  • Chest: 81-85 cms
  • Running: 2.5 km in 12 minutes
• Female Candidates:
  • Height: 157 cms
  • Running: 1 km in 6 minutes
• Ex-Servicemen:
  • Running: 1 km in 5 minutes

Application Fee:

Selection Process:

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Written Exam (94.5% Weightage)
4. Document Verification (5.5% Weightage)
5. Medical Examination

Exam Process and Pattern:

Under the new rules for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, candidates up to ten times the number of vacancies will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). These tests are qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded for them.

After clearing the PMT and PET, candidates will take a written exam with 100 questions worth 94.5 marks. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission will then shortlist candidates equal to four times the number of advertised posts in each category, based on their performance in the PMT and PET, to appear for the Knowledge Test.

• Weightage: 94.5% of the total score, consisting of objective, multiple-choice questions.
• Medium: Bilingual (Hindi/English), except where the knowledge of Hindi/English is being tested.
• Content: Questions will cover General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and other relevant fields/trades. At least 10% of questions will be on basic computer knowledge and 20% on basic knowledge about Haryana.
• Standard: Questions will be at the level expected of a 10+2 graduate for Constable posts and a university graduate for Sub-Inspector posts.
• Passing Marks: General category candidates must score at least 50%, while reserved category candidates (both vertical and horizontal) need at least 40%, excluding socio-economic criteria weightage.

Pay Scale:

• Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100/-
