HTET Level I: Primary Teacher (PRT) – Class 1 to 5
Eligibility Criteria:
- 10+2 Intermediate with at least 50% marks and:
- Passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed
- OR
- 10+2 Intermediate with at least 45% marks and:
- Passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed
- OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream and:
- Passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed.
HTET Level II: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Class 6 to 8
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least 50% marks and:
- 2-year Diploma in Education / Elementary Education
- OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and:
- B.Ed or Special B.Ed Degree
- OR
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and:
- 4-year BA B.Ed or B.Com B.Ed Degree
HTET Level III: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Class 9 to 12
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and:
- B.Ed Degree
